Sirius Sydney Harbour

Sirius Sydney Harbour

Sirius is Sydney's most famous Brutalist building and a landmark of The Rocks' skyline. Designed in 1979 by architect Tao Gofers, its strong architectural presence is visible from bridge, street and shore.

Reimagined by BVN, this adaptive reuse does not diminish Sirius' uniqueness – it elevates it. New additions and materiality bestow the building with a level of luxury its harbour-front address deserves.

Sustainability matters. Sirius' carbon footprint is significantly reduced by retaining the building's concrete structure, upgrading systems to contemporary standards and reviving rooftop gardens.

Sirius will be a portal between The Rocks' past and future, sitting gracefully within its historic surrounds. A powerful statement of Sydney design for those who truly understand and value its significance
