McKimm
Located in the heart of Brighton’s Golden Mile and just 200 metres from the coastline, Seacombe Grove is a home defined by precision, material integrity, and spatial clarity. Designed and delivered by Melbourne-based architecture and construction studio McKimm, the project is both sculptural and restrained—a high-performance home where form follows intention, and every detail has been carefully resolved. Interiors were led by Isabella Cini, McKimm’s Interior Design Manager, whose material selections and detailing reinforce the home’s overall sense of cohesion and calm.
Seacombe Grove presents as a monolithic but deeply inviting structure. A strong cantilever defines the façade, while curved external forms soften the overall massing. Internally, the spaces unfold across multiple levels—linking open-plan living zones, basement wellness areas, private courtyards, and rooftop entertaining terraces. McKimm’s architectural language here is clean but tactile, with emphasis placed on continuity and transition. Curves are used deliberately to encourage movement and soften boundaries, while a tonal palette of travertine, Venetian plaster, custom-stained timber, and aged bronze accents supports a calm, immersive experience throughout the home.
Titan was proud to contribute to this significant residential project, supplying brass sinks and brushed brass tapware for numerous areas of the home including its dedicated bar areas. These fixtures were specified not only for their design alignment but for their durability and performance within high-use spaces. With a finish that captures the look of aged brass without the maintenance or oxidation, the PVD brass used across Titan products provides a consistent visual character that holds its tone over time. In a house where surfaces are expected to endure without compromise, this made them an ideal fit.

The bar areas, located within two separate entertaining zones, reflect the same level of consideration as the rest of the house. These are not secondary spaces, but extensions of the interior architecture—executed with the same attention to joinery, lighting, and finish. In both, Titan’s products are integrated into custom bar cabinetry, surrounded by natural stone surfaces and bespoke detailing. The brass finish offers a quiet contrast to the surrounding materials, bringing warmth and definition without dominating the space. It also supports the home's strong focus on quality and longevity, offering a low-maintenance surface that performs consistently in a demanding, functional context.

One of the key values shared between McKimm and Titan is the belief that detail matters. At Seacombe Grove, this is evident in every part of the build—from the architectural structure and façade expression down to the individual fittings. Each fixture had to meet a high standard, both aesthetically and technically. Product decisions were driven by the broader design language of the home—natural, refined, and built to last. Our involvement was not about standing out, but about integrating seamlessly with the design direction and supporting the daily function of the space.
The collaboration between architecture, interiors, and construction was central to the success of this home. Led by Nick McKimm and a skilled in-house team including Danica and Lorenzo Garizio (Directors of Architecture), Isabella Cini (Interior Design Manager), and Michael Piercy (Director of Construction), Seacombe Grove is the product of deep collaboration and design execution at a high level. It’s a residence that feels resolved and intentional, where every decision is part of a larger architectural vision. For Titan, being involved in a project of this calibre aligns with our values: delivering high-quality products that serve a purpose, elevate their setting, and contribute meaningfully to the life of a space.
Our brass sink and brushed brass tapware are a small but deliberate part of that vision. They support functionality, respect the architectural palette, and contribute to a home built with care, rigour, and long-term thinking.
